Anyone ever done it?

Somehow, they keep the internet scrubbed squeaky clean of anything but their own PR.

$4000- they send a lab out to your house to do bloodwork/urinalysis. Then, 2 weeks later they send you to a clinic where they do a DEXA scan, VO max, explain the blood work results- supposedly a 6 hour physical.

Then they prescribe you TRT, perhaps HGH, and a bunch of other crap and nutraceuticals- all by a physician. Meds are about $800/month after that.

So I’m curious surely someone knows someone that has done it.

I am tired of exercising diligently, and monitoring macros, and sometimes doing what most would say are unrealistic exercise regimens to have a fluffy dad bod.

I have an appointment set- curious to see others results or be flamed for trying.

I don’t care to be ripped, but I have NEVER been able to get below 18% BF.

12-14% would be just fine with me. I am strong, but fat today. For reference, I did a 2 mile 50lb. ruck walk yesterday morning in a shade over 35 minutes.

Update- I came here to post something else and thought I should give a progress update…

In 2.5 months-

Up 17 lbs. muscle
Down 20 lbs. fat
BF % down 6 pts

I feel great- they DO NOT push the supplements on you- I bought them all on the first lick and now am just using generic alternatives.

I feel fantastic- having 2 MDs cell numbers, who answer your calls and emails is fantastic.

Also- having access to unlimited DEXA scans, VO max tests, etc. is priceless.

I am seeing vascularity that I never saw before.

How long have you been doing this?

To a certain point it is genetic, but you do know that if you're carrying excess BF it is almost (not entirely) 100% on your carb count.

How old are you? At a certain point, 12% BF may just be beyond what you can do with the available dietary options.

20 years

At one point, I ate only grilled chicken and spinach with whey shakes and turkey sandwiches and fruit- for years- and ran 3 miles every morning- still fluffy- this was 26-30 years old.

Then, I got into weights, road biking, and at one point- could knock out an easy 50 miles and do sprint triathlons for fun. Would go swim 2-4
mornings a week.

Have had training sessions with 4 trainers over the 20 year span- some for well over a year at a time.

Including Johnny Pain and Martina Raskova.

46 years old today.

ETA- I love to work out/exercise. I am
the mid 40 year old guy at the gym who can take months off and walk back in and bench 225 cold turkey.

You're considering spending almost $14k for a year of this program. Good luck.

Yes- the good news about being an obsessive person about fitness is that it carries over to business. I’m at a point in my life where it’s not a problem if it doesn’t work.

Don’t get me wrong- I think it’s expensive AF and had to think about it- A LOT

That should be a red flag that you're about to get taken to the cleaners

Get a DEXA scan at a university hospital...put in some work for 6 months and get another one

There. I just saved you about15K

this isnt true by the way, been proven by over a dozen highly controlled studies. but some people do tend to really good with lower carbs when it comes to stomach fat though.

#1 you are not a special snow flake who cant get below 18%. you either are not counting correctly...i.e. are tracking cooked vs raw, not counting things like cooking oil, etc or you are way over estimating your calories and activity

#2 quit all that god damn running adn all that road biking if you goal is to look good. for cardio we want to do a hard 10-12 min of hard conditioing, sprints, air bike intervals, rower intervals, strongman condtioning. for LISS we do walking, walking with vest, kb walks, etc

#3 cybergenics is a fraud. go get your blood work done by your doctor and post your test, free test, estrogen, igf, comprehensive metabolic panel, thyroid II profile, vit d 25 hydroxy, dhea sulfate, shgb, vit b12

get those done and post the results and we can help you without you having to spend 15k a year.

in mean time make another thread with your stats, full expierence, what your current calorie and macros look like etc we can help you with these and programming.

Scam. You can do all that testing much cheaper.

That is way too much money, you can get a full blown physical with bloodwork for much cheaper. I get that done twice a year and it costs a couple hundred dollars.

That also seems high. TRT places in Dallas advertise $200-$300/month. Do not know HGH cost. Anything else is probably OTC for cheaper.

for the record cybergenics is not prescribing hgh. they are prescribing ghrh/ghrp peptide combo. they can not prescribe gh unless you are a young kid who is way way below average height or have some form of muscle wasting disease like aids.

trt is currently $35.62 at walgreens for a 10ml 200mg/ml vial of test cyp which should last 10-12 weeks.

ipamorelin/sermorelin is currently like $120 for a months supply from reviverx.

if you want to go this route without dealing with local doctor or insurance....

use marekhealth and use stan efferings codes for the blood work

LINK

do not pay a damn fortune for some damn crazy arse scam like cybergenics.

I wish you'd do a TRT thread on breakdown of cost typical with insurance and without. Also, breakdown what to expect going to a doctor and maintenance visits.

well its hard to do based on insurance and what is covered by some and not others

if you go to a trt clinic

if your doctor gives you your shot or you do it yourself etc

what protocol you are on etc.

goodrx is going to have pricing about the same as most insurance

gpzservices will get you your pins in your choice of size with prolly the least amount of hassle

reviverx in houston is really good for the other things that a normal pharmacy doesnt have like hcg, growth hormone peptides etc

i guess i can try later this week or next. but things vary a ton.

best thing to do imo is find a doctor who will right the script and monitor blood work like a good urologist. if you are in houston i suggest baylor but if you want to go to someone that will give you shot...then try Dr Bargerstock with Key T Wellness....dude is really really good.

i dunno for other places but any doctor that will write you a script for 1x or 2x a week shot for total of 150mg/week is a good start. hopefully they are willing to do peptides too but thats not always the case.

if you want to do yourself, peptide science and then sst(the old steroid source subreddit) seems to be what most on reddit are doing. quesiton then becomes though, how do you monitor bloodwork? to me thats the big thing, blood work is key.

I'm willing to do it myself. Just don't know what to ask GP to start or if I go straight to a urologist. What other stuff am I SUPPOSED to take with TRT and what stuff is GOOD to take with TRT.

just ask to have full hormone panel done and see if you have low test, high estrogen, low igf levels.

i listed everything above i think in like 3rd post.

or could do the tela doctor thing i linked

what you should take depends on the levels

in general, start with just test at 150mg/week in either 1 or 2 shots subq plus 9mg boron daily.

but depends all on blood levels on everything. should know cholesterol, trig levels also so you can monitor how things are affecting you.

I’ll compare tomorrow to optimal, the total is not bad though, not great but not bad either. Not trt worthy imo

For the sake of not starting another thread - do you still recommend the Cross101 vest? I was looking into a previous thread I started on the topic. Never ordered one because I was traveling so damn much for work. But nothing stopping me now.
