Also, have you thought about experimenting with a flavorless protein powder and then using actual vanilla or vanilla extract for the flavor?

I’ve gotten really good at this. It makes for a really clean protein shake, and I can make my vanilla ones taste like the best homemade vanilla ice cream you’ve ever had.

For the chocolate ones, I use Hershey’s cocoa and some clean allulose to sweeten it.

For now, I’m using protein shakes to supplement my protein intake during this particular phase. I plan to stop using protein powder in the next phase, which is coming up soon and I can say that I will miss my protein shakes.

I also use these shakes to consume supplements like glycine and magnesium and collagen peptides so I’ll have to come up with another delivery system.

I've been a big fan of of Dymatize 100 whey isolate powders. I havent had the vanilla but all other flavors have been great.

This is some really good stuff if you like good tasting protein powder. I have the Dunkin’ Donuts doughnut-flavored powder and I used it to flavor My vanilla protein shakes sometimes and I can say that stuff is awesome good.

But I decided to go clean and bought some just straight protein powder and now I make my own flavor shakes and they don’t have ingredients that I don’t know what they are like artificial flavors.

This is my current favorite protein powder. I just add water post workout, but if I was to add milk to this I think it would taste like a milkshake.

That’s what I use. Costco always carries the 5# bags for $50-$60

Idk bout vanilla but I bought some Never Ending Chocolate from Axe & Sledge. Best protein powder I’ve ever tasted. Mix that shite up with some chocolate milk. Awesome

I’d put money on whatever vanilla flavor they make being great too

Earth Fed Muscle is expensive but insanely good. We put it in oatmeal, yogurt, shakes, etc. mixes great and very clean ingredients

AGN Irish Roots

Clean protein, grass fed Irish cows. Very neutral flavor and mixes well. I’ve ordered on Amazon before.

The really clean protein powders usually are very chalky and mix horribly and typically don't 'taste' very good

I use Ascent unflavored whey protein.

Mixes in the blender just fine and I get the flavor from other ingredients, like peanut butter powder or fruits.

To my knowledge they don't sell them in powder form, but HEB has these vanilla protein shakes and they are great:
