When I was in college we all got into using Creatine and it helped with strength and and some size but felt bloated on the monohydrate variety. Now my diet at the time was shite in college , so there is that, and now as a normal health conscious adult I have a much more healthy regimen of foods I eat so maybe I won’t retain like I did then.
About 5 years ago I tried the
Kre alkaline Creatine, and that didn’t hold as much water retention but didn’t notice the results as much.

Any suggestions on something you use currently, or have used with success recently is appreciated.

Find one that uses Creapure vs alternatives that come from China.

Creapure doesn’t sell direct, they sell it to others who package it to sell. I asked a rep why and he said the hurdles they would have to jump through wasn’t worth it.

Creapure home site

I bought Muscle Feast 168 serving flavorless from Amazon which uses the Creapure CM for $90.

Any creatine mono. Take 5g a day, don’t preload and get after it.

Thanks I appreciate it. After thinking about it more the Monohydrate without the added calories I used eat probably wont bloat.

I have an account with this company to get free shipping and 25% off. I haven't figured out how to get anyone else a discount but if you want to try them out, go for it. I use a bunch of other products from them.

Is that you Mr Xendurance?

Ha thx appreciate it. Looking for something fairly inexpensive to go along with other stuff that isn’t cheap.

I have the same discount with Xendurance. I can toss you a 10% code on it if you want to try that one.

It also uses the Creapure Creatine and has 2g of lactate per serving in it.

I just went through a 2 month cycle of 3g creatine hcl daily and hit PRs on my bench and power clean. Some folks here think It’s not that great but I would recommend it. I don’t know if it’s any better/worse than creapure though

I've been using this exclusively for a while and can tell a difference. I stock up on it when it is on sale.

Do you use the same amount or less than mono? I was told you can use less which is why I used 3g instead of the typical 5g of mono. I’ve also never used mono so I don’t know how it compares so I’m just curious.

I've used every type of creatine under the sun since about 1997 or so. I have personally found HCL to be the best for me (everyone is different) I use 4.5 grams a day (three 750mg scoops in my pre workout and three 750 mg scoops in my intra workout drink) This is probably overkill and I think 3g would be fine. It definitely doesn't give me the uneasy bloated stomach feeling that monohydrate does (again everyone is different)

Ended up going with another suggestion and it does contain some sugars and carbs but with my current diet shouldn’t be an issue.

The brand is Muscle Tech- Cell Tech
1 Scoop 5gs Creatine 150 calories
Has BCAAs and some Aminos and 6 Lb jug 54 servings for $47 after tax shipped to the house off Amazon.

I appreciate the other suggestions as well. Thank you

Is there a creatine without bloat? Some advertise it but is it true or a gimmick?

Muscle Tech is trash. You’re paying for an overpriced brand.

The reason why I recommended a Creapure brand is because there are higher impurities in Creatine from China, which is where MT gets their Creatine.

Man I should have known to trust you over my other buddies suggestion. Lol

Everything works differently for everyone I’m guessing . He has had great results with Muscle Tech he said and for under $47 for 54 servings I hardly call that overpriced.

If it doesn’t work I’ll try another suggestion. Possibly yours.

I just bought Muscle Feast (Creapure) off Amazon. Great reviews, US based small business, relatively inexpensive, checks the boxes for me.
