What's the consensus, it works or it's snake oil?

My wife has neck issues and I practice jiu-jitsu so I get some neck pain from time to time.

I’d consult a PT or good chiropractor before doing resistance neck exercises with neck pain

I mainly want it for myself. If my wife can get some benefit, all the better.

Only thing I don't like about neck training is with the prevelance of sleep apnea and those that tend to give up lifting and gain weight.......I worry about anyone growing their neck as that's the #1 thing for sleep apnea.

This is something I've thought about. In looking online, not much out there on using this with herniated cervical discs, but it's designed to help with chronic neck pain?

I like the idea, but I'd be worried you'd really screw your neck up so much worse, or at minimum there's that potential.
