I’m 5’7 a little lighter than 190 (187) and I run 6 minute miles. Some people do genetically have an abnormal amount of muscle mass.

I am trying to drop weight for vanity reasons though. However when I go to the doctor I never get told to drop weight. It just doesn’t really need to happen for health reasons. I have BP 110/75, resting HR in the high 40s low 50s and great bloodwork.

Also I want to run faster. That’s a big motivator to drop down to 175.

I agree that OP is prolly not in the same boat because 1:12 for a 10K is slow as frick. No shade OP everyone has their pace but it’d be tough to make myself jog that slow on a warmup.

Just stop eating bad shite, OP

Eliminate refined sugars (NO SWEETS!) and fast food is a never.

Reduce quantity.

You’re already drinking less. Good.

Get to the fricking gym!

I’ll keep it pretty simple.
Don’t eat out.
Clear your pantry of all processed foods. The kids shouldn’t eat that shite either.
Eat meats, eggs, fruits, berries, cheese, nuts, whole milk yogurt, and veggies. Don’t keep bread and shite on hand.
Meal prep with a variety of the above ingredients with a focus on protein.
Excercise an hour 5 days a week.
If you do this, the 20 pounds won’t make a difference. You and your family will be healthier.

And if you must eat carbs, go with the Louis Farrakhan diet...no white bread, white pasta, white rice, etc...eat only whole wheat bread, whole wheat pasta, brown rice, etc.

Take tirezipitide
Eat meat and greens only(nothing processed at all)
Drink half your weight in ounces of water everyday
Exercise for 30 minutes everyday

Do those 4 and youll lose what you need to. Your welcome.
