Count me in. I need a little extra motivation these days.

So 10k over 31 days is ~ 323 a day. Lets just say 324 to make it easier to divide. Assuming I do 12 sets of 27 or 6 sets of 54, which would be more beneficial? I'm thinking knock out 54 right when I get up, and then every 2 hours after that do another 54 until I've done 6 sets. So 6:30, 8:30, 10:30, 12:30, 2:30, and 4:30 and I've done them all before leaving work for the day.

You got time to keep up with a spreadsheet? We could post our results once every 3-4 days if it's not too much?

You up for the challenge Sabi? I know 300 is your morning warmup but you can still participate.

Is that what it comes out to? 300? That's not bad. How about a 10,000 pullup challenge?

Btw what kind of push ups? Chest to floor or 90 degree elbow bend?

This is true, but certain muscles recover faster from certain exercises. If you're in decent shake than doing push-ups everyday should be all right. A good litmus test would be if your still sore from the last day. If you are even a little, your muscles are still repairing. Don't work them. It won't hurt them, but you won't get much benefit.

Decent shape would be generous. I'm like 105lbs, but I'm in the WORST SHAPE. I eat like shite, drink a lot, and never had to work out in my life.

But I don't like the way my body looks anymore like I did when I was 90lbs.

I'm trying to do portion control and trying to do some working out. I know that strength exercises (even mild ones like pushups and situps) will help build muscle, which might not make you actually LOSE weight, but it makes you look much thinner because the fat converts to muscle so the weight you had is now tight and lean (right?)

I stay sore a decent amount of time right now. Again, bad diet.. never had a need to work out.. etc.

And for a woman working the pectoralis major and minor increases chest wall tension and makes boobs look perkier. It's science.

But is working out and/or losing weight going to make them go away and/or shrink? They're my only true asset. People think they're fake. I can't be losing that

I would probably do standard pushups with my power stands, but I do two workouts a day already.

That would be farrrr more difficult. Especially if youre doing real pullups and not that bullshite crossfit kickup pullup.

I already do about 200 a morning as part of my warmup, should be easy to expand it.

Maybe the challenge should just be "see how many you can do"

Yeah, I'm going to bring my pushup bars up here to the office. I'll knock out the first set at home without but all here will be on those so I can get further range of motion.
