Yeah there are 32 other teams. Joel Dahmen, the Hojgaards, Ryan Fox, Bud Cauley are probably the most notable names

Cameron Champ is another interesting one as he’s usually top 3 in driving distance.

It’s weird to me that the tour has an elevated event the week after the masters. That hurts the Zurich more than anything.

If RBC was a regular event you’d probably have a ton of guys take this week off and ease their way back into golf at the Zurich.

Regardless, I’m going. It’s always a fun time out there.

There are 8 Signature Events for the PGA this year from January to June.

Each month has at least 1 signature event.
January and May have 2.

Hopefully the PGA will move the signature events around some, because if the tour wants to keep 1 Signature event in April. It makes sense to have it after the Master. You don't want it the week before the Masters.

So, if the Zurich Classic stays in April and 2 weeks after the Masters, it is going to suffer. It did much better before Harbor Town became a signature event.

If Zurich wants to extent their sponsorship, you can bet they are trying to get a better place on the schedule.

And yes, had Rory and Shane not won the Zurich last year, this years field would have been terrible. You know that Zurich is praying that Shane and Rory make the cut this year and are in contention on the weekend to keep ratings up.

He hits the ball further than Rory and Min Woo. It’s notable to mention and probably fun to watch up close while everyone else is 29 deep trying to watch 5ft 6 Rory.

Cameron Champ is a 3 time winner on the PGA that has lost his card is playing on the Korn Ferry tour this year.

Last year on the PGA tour he was #1 in driving distance, but 181 in strokes gained on approach to the green. He missed the cut 18 times in 26 events.

He will be fun to watch off the tee. But his partner better be great on approach to the green.

Sure but they were #1 and #2 in 2024 by two yards.

Half the players on that list I didn’t even realize were still on tour.

I really thought this tournament would turn into something being the only team event but damn.

I didn’t say he hit it 80 yards further than him. Just said he’d be a fun, stress free dude to follow while all the casuals follow Rory

I followed the Fitzpatrick’s last year and could hear every discussion they had with their caddie and could very clearly see every shot they hit. They played w the Hogaards and they had hit foreign smoke show GF’s following them around as well.

There is more than one way to attend a golf tournament

Your opinion trumps if you have played it. Agree on last few holes however
