Surprised this hasn’t gotten more attention here. This will be an elite golf resort that like 95% of this board will be able to drive to versus a trip to bandon.
Figured this thread would be filled with excitement.
Was pretty excited until I saw the membership price. I know that's an a select group but I got a feeling it's going to be a pricey membership even when the basic plan comes out. But just 70ish miles from my house, it will definitely be a place I go play at when I can. Nothing really like that anywhere close.

It'll never be cheaper than the founder memberships they're selling right now.
But, it's open to the public so you don't have to be a member

It’s going to be very similar to Bandon Dunes. They are building a travel type resort. You can be a member but the membership isn’t a country club type membership. There will be some public play but they will be catering to the traveling golfer. I’d expect a 200+ greens fee.

They own Sand Valley as well, which also appears to be similar to this development. Sand Valley is in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin, and the closest cities are Milwaukee (3hrs) and Green Bay (2hrs). Green fees at Sand Valley are $295 at each course--I'd expect something similar here considering the proximity to Dallas and Houston.
