Why is the PGA tour playing WED-SAT this week?

Maybe cause the NFC and AFC championships are on Sunday? (If they both are). I don’t think they want to try and compete against that.

They did this last night year too. They will avoid the Super Bowl as well.

I believe the Waste Management will finish up on Super Bowl Sunday. It worked well last year finishing before the game started. I remember watching Scheffler win instead of watching pregame.

The difference is with the Super Bowl the PGA has time to finish before it starts. This weekend the games start at 2:00 CST.
