No offense taken, I mowed those fairways last week for 6 nights, they were really good. The new celebration fairways and tif eagle greens will really be nice.

Didn't mean to offend you, Mr. Spackler. I was just pointing out that completely re-sodding fairways and greens is not routine maintenance, but also doesn't mean the course is bad, only that it could be better.
TPC Sawgrass did this same renovation a couple of years ago. It is a primo course.

The upgrade, which is expected to be finished by late summer, will include a re-grassing of all playing surfaces, except for roughs and tee boxes. Greens will be refurbished with TifEagle Bermudagrass while the fairways and shortly mown areas around the greens will be outfitted with Celebration Bermudagrass. This was done two years ago at TPC Sawgrass, though the Players move to March this year included ryegrass over-seed. (TPC Sawgrass will transition back to its Bermuda by May.)
I was a volunteer at the Zurich Friday to Sunday. I got to walk the fairway and by the greens. The course is in good shape. The #1 green did have issues. I am not sure what was going on there, but other greens were pure.
