Who has ever had a caddy?

Always playing with friends and mostly scrambles. I have never seen anyone with a caddy. We play public courses with mostly poors. I guess having a caddy means baller status

Use them exclusively when walking and traveling, not sure anywhere in Louisiana has a caddie program or any course worth walking that the experience would be worthwhile.

Only when traveling and on Golf trips. The course provides them and they are a nice resource. Some are pretty cool to and will crack jokes and have fun.

Used on at Kiawah. Was a cool experience as they guy was inside the ropes at the PGA there and had a lot of player info from that tournament.

Played with a caddie probably 20 times. Just came back from a Scotland and Ireland Trip and played golf 12 times. Had a caddie for 10 of those 12. Really helps when you’re playing a course for the first time

I’ve used them at Kiawah and Lahinch. I’ll likely use one at Streamsong when I get over there later this year.

Caddied once in an exclusive tournament. Got drunk as shite the night before. It was in July I think. Was sweating bullets and the guy I caddied for had one of those pro bags. Wasn't worth a crap. That's all I got.

I won a tournament on Southern Trace using a close friend (2 handicapper) as my caddy. It is his home course, so he knew every bump and roll and clubbed my distances. All other competitors voiced opposition before the round, as they were all riding carts. The pro stepped in and set them straight. I walked, but took the win by 3 strokes.

I have only seen caddys at prestigious courses

AAA state golf tourney at LSU, the old LSU course. Brother was at LSU and caddied for me on the front nine. Shot in the 50's. Left shot 42. That's all I got.

I can see that Uber for Caddies picking up. It is called Caddie Now App. I bet that would be a cool job for a college aged golfer in BR.

We used forecaddies at Mossy Oak last fall. It was a good experience.
We're scheduled to return in October.

I've been a caddie on the US amateur qualifier. Not sure why you would need one for a regular weekend round, but when you're walking and playing 36 in one day, it helps to have some help. I carried the bag, fixed divots and raked the bunker while the player was walking, checking distances, and making reads. Don't have to be baller status to have a caddie in a tournament.
