Correct, and 6 more that were not PGA events. DJ has only won 19 PGA events, plus 2 non PGA events, plus 2 LIV events.
So 29 to 23
I don't know why you want to ignore the European events. Well I do, but it's funny regardless
ETA: Excuse me, 9 more non PGA Events for Rory (since you're using career and not since 05/11/14. he won in Dubai in 2009, in Hong Kong in 2011, and again in Dubai in 2012.
Here are their wiki pages if you want to compare

Bruh… show your work. List out the 29 tournaments that Rory has won… bc he definitely has not.
Anyways, I already said it’s not all about wins but for some reason that’s what you want to hone in on.
DJ has been the best golfer in the world since 2014

I told you on page 1 that you’re double counting his wins on euro tour. I don’t think you can comprehend.
His major wins & WGC wins do not count twice.

Then why did you give DJ 19 PGA Tour wins? He only has 16 since 05/11/14

I gave you one back last page. He has 16 on PGA, 2 on euro, & 3 on LIV.
Glad we can finally agree that it’s 23 vs 21

Where yall are different is you're going career and he's starting in 2014.
Posted on 3/19/24 at 3:10 pm to JimTiger72
So Rory has more tour wins, they have the same amount of major wins, and DJ has 13 more weeks as world #1. If I'm you, I probably just compare their Ryder Cup records since Rory literally can't play in the President's Cup. Since 2014 Rory has played in 5, DJ in 3. Their career Ryder Cup records since 2014 are: DJ 8-6 (2-1 in singles); Rory 12-10-2 (3-2 in singles)

I already listed the many reasons why DJ has been a better golfer since 2014. We’ve settled on their professional wins since 2014 as 23 vs 21.
You can disagree if you want, but that is who I think has been the best….. even if he is currently ranked 297th

When he left for LIV, he was #12 & Rory was #7.

You reasons in your post were
"More wins, more majors, more $, & longer time spent as #1."
Only one of those is accurate

You wanna talk how each has done in majors since DJ left for LIV? Rory has 6 top 10 finishes out of 7 majors and 1 missed cut. DJ has 2 top 10 finishes and 2 missed cuts

Nah… the discussion is since 2014. Looking at the entire 10 yr period
I get it. You think Rory has been better than DJ. That’s cool

You interjected their current world rankings and what they were pre DJ leaving for LIV. I was responding to that.

If it wasn't relevant to this thread and you didn't want to discuss that, then why even post it?
DJ's world ranking very likely would have dropped regardless. Even leading up to his exit, he wasn't playing his best golf. Prior to his exit, the 2021-22 season, he'd played 10 PGA Tour events with just 2 top 10 finishes, and 3 missed cuts. He was #1 in the world in July of 2021 and had fallen to 13th in just under a year. prior to that, he hadn't been outside the top 5 since 2016 and hadn't been outside the top 10 since March of 2015.

Further proof that it’s DJ….
He spent 135 weeks as #1, but he also remained in top 10 for 355 consecutive weeks from 2015-2022.

Would not have guessed JT was in the top 10 for that long. His stretch of really good play was longer than thought. I guess because he played so poorly last year it makes you forget his good stretch.
Wonder long long Rory spent outside the top 10 in that stretch. Wouldn't think it's be long.
Ian Woosnam another surprise name
