Santa Maria punches Monday/Tuesday. Lets see if they heal better than Webb or Beaver.

Played SM yesterday & they are still in pretty bad shape.

Anyone played beaver recently? Are the greens on track to be recovered by Aug 30-31 for the four ball tournament?

I hit balls at BC Friday evening then played the back nine. I was pleasantly surprised at the putting green though it was slow.

Then I went and played. Apparently they haven’t moved the tee boxes in a week? The greens were bumpy. They need some rain really bad but also the edges of every green is in bad shape. Top left of 17 was real bad and for some reason the pin is up there every time I play there. Not sure why they never put it at the bottom tier to give that top shelf a break? But also can people for the love of all things golf fix your pitch marks and sand your divots?

I played at Beaver yesterday. Greens were in good shape. A few greens had some patches but it seems that they have recovered well. The fairways and bunkers are the best BREC has to offer no doubt about it.

There was standing water in at least three bunkers and it hadn’t rained in a couple of days. The guy I got paired with said they completely let one bunker go on side of #7. Some of the bunkers have coarse heavy brown sand and some have fluffy light white sand?

Fairways were nice though. Minus the plethora of unsanded divots.

The unsanded divots are what you would expect from a BREC course unfortunately.

I felt like I was in a bunker at least 5 holes. All of them were good. Didn't look at the others.

The amount of un repaired ball marks at BC lately has been alarming.

Those courses are so overplayed it is bound to happen. I hate it as much as anyone but it is what it is.

I ended up calling later today- they punched today. City Park punched 8/5, greens still rough today.

City greens were the best I had seen them in a decade.

Played BC today. Greens were smooth for the most part, just a little slow. Some of them have some bad spots on the edges that are no where near healed and some of the fringes are so thin and recovering as well. All in all, very playable. Fairways are in great shape, minus the usual ones on the back nine that hold water. Rough is very thick right now.

Currently sitting at Webb. Greens aren't great, but are getting better from being punched a couple weeks ago.
