My group wants to try different balls, so we all decided to each buy a dozen and share differnent ball sleeves for fun.

I'm thinking of buying some Vice balls, either the Pro or the new Air.

Anybody play these balls regularly or can speak to their quality ?

My buddy who is a 3 handicap swears by them. I’ve seen him play some really good golf using the Pro or pro plus. It’s a good deal when you buy 4doz.

The pros are pretty good. I go back and forth between those and tp5’s

Would yall say that the

Pro is like the ProV1

And the Pro Plus - ProV1x ?

The new models are much more durable in my experience. I stopped using the older models due to the cover damage from my wedges. I've got new Vokeys and no big gashes like the older models. Distance wise from the Prov1 to Vice Pro Plus is maybe 3-5 yards off driver. Iron distance is close enough.

Plenty of check around the greens.

I think the pro exists somewhere between the avx and ProV1.

I haven’t played the pro+

Good to know.

I believe PGA superstore carries them, will check it out tomorrow.

Walmart and Target usually have them. I think Sam’s started carrying them also

Vice Pro are a good AVX comp

Sams in Slidell just had the two dozen box on sale for $29. I bought 6 boxes (12 dozen) and should have bought more.

absolutely top shelf quality. If anyone has any clubhead speed like driving 270+, definitely try the Pro and the Pro Plus.

I play the pros primarily. Really quality ball. Feel is similar to ProV1. Maybe slightly less spin but not an issue for me. For half the price I'm very pleased. Lots of places sell the 24 packs for $50. My local Sam's stopped carrying them unfortunately so I buy online (Amazon, Walmart, etc). Best deal in balls I have found.

I really like them. I get the Vice Pro from SAMs. 2 dozen for $49.99.
The only thing that is weird is that I think the white "fades" after playing which can make them more challenging to find sometimes.
MINOR observation.

I'm not good enough to splurge on ProVs ot TP5s. I'M CHEAP!
I look for the sales on Maxfli Tour and the Vice Pro. Dick's has a 48 pack of the Tours for $110.

These are the only balls I use. The Pro. For the money, they are the best value out there. The performance is comparable to ProV

This was my problem too. They spun great, flew far, but the cover would tear so easily. Perhaps I'll give them another try.

I've been using Wilson Triads all summer and I love them for something semi-premium but not ProV1 tier.

To me the ProV1 ball feels hard, but I like the ProV1x.

So that gives me some concern about the Pro.

I think that I am going to try the Pro Plus and the new Air for my group.

Other balls that will be tested by our group of Seniors are -

TM Tour Response
Maxfli Tour and Tour X
Cally Tour Soft
Bridgestone RXS
Others TBD

Should be a fun experiment.

Post the results from your group. I'd love to know the findings.
