Time for some new wedges. Mine are 10+ years old. What should I get?

Currently have Cleveland wedges, but willing to branch out. Need a Gap (52/53) and a lob (60).
What's the best thing out there? I am not the golfer I once was (7.8 index currently) in the short game and could probably use some forgiveness when it comes to touch shots around the green, but full swing shots I can handle a tougher club to hit.
Anyone love any of their new wedges?

I switched from Cleveland to Vokey about 7-8 years ago and really like them. I don't know if I'll own another brand of wedges.
I find them a little heavier which feels better to me.

Like that too.
I'm definitely going high bounce on my 52 degree. Thinking I might do the Cleveland CBX-2 on that one (very forgiving) and the RTX4 for the 60 degree...if I stick to Cleveland.
If I go Vokey, which is probably my only real other option, I'll do the SM7 for both and just get high bounce F-grind on the 52 degree.
What is certain, is that I fricking love shopping for new golf clubs.

I actually changed out wedges today, and switched to Titleist Vokeys. I've always had Callaways, so we'll see how this goes.
I know a lot of people always say to buy new on wedges, but I bought a set of the SM5s (52/56/60) in Very Good & Excellent condition from Global Golf. They were $45 each.

I felt the same way. I tried a Ping Glide 2.0 stealth and love it. My first shot with it was a chip-in birdie
I was also looking at a Cleveland CBX 2, but got a deal in the Ping

anyone played the ping glide 3.0?
I’ve got it narrowed down between those and the vokeys.

If the 3.0 is anything like the 2.0, it’s butter.

Those are the ones I play. The 3.0.
Stuck a few super close with tight pins. Love em.

My three are all Glide, but all of different series. Love all of them.

Anyone messing with the Taylormades?
They look pretty slick.
I'm currently on SM7 52,56,60 and love them. a bit heavier but it creates great action on full swings.

There is a pretty cool YouTube video which shows the difference between Glide 3.0 wedges and Vokey wedges in wet conditions. The title of the video is something like “The Most Surprising Wedge Test Ever - Ping Glide 3.0”. It demonstrates how the hydro coating that Ping puts on the 3.0 repels away moisture to keep the spin rates high while a wet Vokey loses a bunch of spin.
If you are a devoted equipment geek, watch the video, if nor, the above summary is the basic gist of the video. That being said, I just got new SM7 Vokeys as I preferred the different grind options.

I bought the new Taylor Made MG2 in 54 and 58 degrees last week. After a couple rounds with them, I really like them. As others have said, they are a little lighter than my SM6 Vokeys which I really like. They feel great and I can generate more spin with them than the Vokeys.

Another vote for ping glides. Haven’t tried the the 3s but I love my 2.0s. I have s300 shafts in mine from pingwrx.

I have a Cbx2 Gap Wedge (haven't played a round with it yet), Glide Stealth 2.0 sand wedge, and RTX-4 lob wedge.
The Glide Stealth 2.0 is buttah

I am currently playing the Glide 3.0 Pings 56 & 58 degrees and I couldn't be happier with them.
The weighting is perfect and the 58 is awesome from tight lies and the bunker.

Research the SCOR wedges and if you like the thought behind the design, buy off of eBay.

All of the newer line of wedges work fine for most golfers. You just need to find the one that looks the best for your eye. I recommend getting a set with higher bounce. This certainly helps for us golfers who don't hit it pure every swing.
I play the TM HI-TOE wedges. They are good, but I will be going back to Mizuno wedges soon.
