I think I’m averaging double bogey on Par 3’s so I should probably play them more often. Audubon is a fun course IMO

Really enjoy them. There is a very good one here in Orlando at Orange County National, called the Tooth. Fun track, especially for young golfers.
Several high-end golf resorts have, or have just added great short courses. Bandon Dunes has the 13 hole Preserve. Pinehurst has the Cradle. Sand Valley has the Sand Box. Forest Dunes introduces one on August 1. Tiger just re-designed the par 3 course at Pebble. Seems to be a nice new trend. Love them.

I love them. Audubon has quality par threes. Just enough longer holes to keep it interesting and a sub 3 hour round.

If it was all pat threes wouldn’t be as fun.

Wish BREC would convert City Park into a par 3 course.

(sorry in advance for triggering the frick out of the anti-BREC dude)

I'll second that the Par 3's at Audubon are really good. #17 from the tips is a monster.

I do not know why Brec or LCG do not offer an executive course. Seems that they are missing out on an opportunity to grow the game (youth programs, family outings and beginners).

The RTJ trail course all have a par 3 course.

They are not a pitch and putt.

Tees go back to more than 220 at the tips of some of them.

I think Cambrian Ridge has a Par 3/executive course on the RTJGC

RTJ: Oxmoor Valley in Birmingham has one. Lakewood in Point Clear does not.

I loved them, really help the iron game.

Use to be several in the Houston area, believe that they are all closed now.

I love them. I grew up playing in a small Georgia town with a local Par 3 course. The holes ranged from 75 to 235 yards. There was an old PGA Professional who ran the place, and you could pay $25 and play all day. Leave and eat lunch, come back and keep playing. My dad and I would walk 54-72 holes pretty much every Saturday. Now that he's gone and the course is closed, those are memories that I'll cherish the rest of my life.

17 at Audubon from the tips is as hard a par 3 you can find.

Such a weird green.

I would say great for getting your irons and wedges dialed in. If you don't have 4 hours, they save time too.
