I like this Brown dude. I hope he wins.

Lowery hits a terrible shot and gets rewarded because of the stands.
There’s been many times where I’ve hit bad shots like that and I just wish there would have been grandstands where I hit.

Brown doubles 18 to drop back to -3 tied with six others, Sam being one of them...
watch what I said about Rosie though...

It’s supposed to be good weather all day tomorrow
With that I favor Xander and Scottie most with burns a distant 3rd

Good weather is good for burns overall. This morning showed that.

Awful quiet weekend for the LIV guys. I guess they are a one-and-done type for the majors each year.

Watching the early golf today. Wind in the low 20’s and a hard crosswind for most of the holes. Who knows what the weather will be when the leaders tee off, but it isn’t playing easy like it did yesterday morning. I don’t see anyone shooting up from the back of the pack today.

Horeshel looks like he dressed out of his grandmothers closet this morning.

Rahman pumped one out of bounds off the tee.

That Lawrence dude is smashing driver everywhere. He is playing well.

Burns is toast. OB on the railway hole. Probably drop to 1 over, 4 over for the day.

Seems to happen every major outside of Dechambeau outlier. Major leaderboards are usually dominated at the top end by PGA Tour guys.
I think the hit and giggle format of LIV just doesn’t prepare these guys for real golf tests. Look at how far DJ has fallen since he’s moved, the dude is just flat out terrible now. Rahm, instantly fell off the map. Cam Smith been worse. Joaquin Neimann was supposed to be the best LIV had to offer, he’s been crap at Majors. By a large percentage, these guys just can’t compete anymore with the guys who play real tournaments year round.
I wonder if/when being “golf irrelevant” will begin to outweigh the money they got and they try to switch back. It’s an interesting dilemma. I’d probably take the hundreds of millions and be irrelevant if I was just an average golfer like the LIV guys, but have to think some of them miss being talked about as contenders or even good golfers...

Pretty stupid take. Tons more golfers in majors than LIV. Rahm just finished 7th. He has been hurt some this year.

You can’t tell me that all of that guaranteed money hasn’t made these guys lose their competitive edge. I know they want to win, but when they can play 54 holes once a month in their shorts and still make insane money, they lose the drive needed to consistently compete at the biggest tournaments against a field that is putting in more work.

LIV had 18. 18 of their best. That’s a significant portion. And just one top 10 from a sprinting Rahm after the tournament was already decided. It’s not subjective.
