Go get some data at a swing bay.

I don’t think the SIM 2 has fared very well in testing. I’ve had a couple of buddies who bought them and dumped. Not sure the side by side comparison though

I think you would need to hit both and see whats best for you.
I have the Epic Max LS and I love it. Would definitely recommend.

Did you happen to try the Cobra Radspeed?

Moved from a M6 to Epic Max this year. Loved the M6 but the new SIM sound is just so deadened. It was also 10-20 yards shorter for me as well.
Sweet spot Callaway sound and feel is hard to beat personally. Sound is pure crispy.

As others have said you need to hit both and decide which one you like more.
I’m partial to callaway as the epic flash subzero is probably the best performing driver I’ve owned.

It's not a one size fits all.
That being said, I've owned both. The Epic Max LS is the one that's still in my bag

Would definitely prefer the Epic Max LS, it's a great driver and comes stock with a really good shaft in the MMT.

I have it in MMT 60 S. It has been behaving lately. Love the head, weight all the way in the toe. Like the Tour Velvet Align grip and will probably put those grips in my irons

I’m swinging the MMT 70x in my driver, 80x in my 4 wood, 80x on my Apex Hybrid and 105TX on the Xforged utility iron. I really like the MMT shaft. Can speak very highly of it

If you have a Golftec near you I’d recommend going and trying them out. They’ll give you different lofted heads and shafts to fit you in an ideal ball velocity, spin rate, distance/miss hit difference and so on. It’s like 100 bucks, I’d rather spend that than risk dumping a new driver and replacing it.

What might be better for you might not be for me. Like others have said find a golftec and hit. I ended up with Mizuno Hot Metal Pro's when I was thinking I would go with something else pre fitting.

Cobra rad speed smokes these 2 but the LTDX coming next year will be even better

I got the Epic because the look of the head was distracting to me on the SIM2. Both awesome clubs I thought I’d land on SIM prior to going in. I hit everything- Ping, Titleist, Cobra, TM. I’d get fitted for a glove before though you’ll be swinging a lot.

This. I went in having just bought Apex irons thinking I’d end up on the Callaway woods, but the SIM2s were better for me in the testing and have been since on the course.
