What makes you think it's entitlement and not just misunderstanding?
Obviously people had permission to enter the club otherwise these guys wouldn't be here and it's not like cops directing traffic duty are always clearly understood.

Players and caddies already at the club are reporting they did exactly the same thing Scottie tried to do...drive around traffic and enter the club and were waived in once identified.

The arresting cops asked reporter Jeff Darlington who happened to be on scenes, "who did we just arrest?"

The only thing I’m thankful for this morning is that this didn’t happen to someone like Harold Varner or Theegala. The narrative would be quite different if the person arrested had dark skin.
