Will be in San Antonio mid April with 1 day available for golf. Will be staying on the West side of town.

Where would you play for a quality round and experience. Thanks

I've only played the Quarry so nothing to compare it to. You will not be disappointed there at all.

Johnny had a good list. Mid April maybe see if the TPC is opened back up yet.

LaCantera resort course is a fun play for the 1st time. After the round head to the bar and get the Chili Rubbed Filet and a nice cocktail.

I loved the Palmer course at LaCantera, I hate that they closed it. I saw the biggest rattlesnake there.

The TPC is very expensive to say the least.

The Quarry is not bad in April. It is a death trap inferno in July and August.

Are you a member at a club now? If so look at the more private ones.

La Cantera is fun, I also miss the Palmer course. Had so much fun that I played it back to back instead of the resort course.

Really just the luck of the draw, we had a meeting with HEB and my boss took 3 of us to the opening of the Palmer course and Arnie was there at the dedication of the Winnie Bridge.

Where on the west side? If you have a full day, La Cantera is a fun track that was a staple on tour in the 90s.

Silverhorn is still my favorite public course growing up. Cedar Creek can be an elite course if the greens are in good shape. I think it’s worth a call.
My name is (or was if they renovated the club house and took down the plaques) at Breckenridge and has a lot of history, even though it has changed from its original layout.
Golf Club of Texas is a good layout but hard knowing Briggs is across the street.
If you’re outside 410, the Hyatt hill country has a solid course too.

Staying outside of 410 off of 10…..not too far from Six Flags. So really Northwest side. Thanks for the suggestions.

Then LaCantera is your best bet.

Cordillera Ranch in Boerne, is the best in San Antonio area. Very private, but it you can get on, you will enjoy it.

I like Oak Hills more than Cordillera.
