This ain’t about the captains.

Azinger and DLlll aren’t that much better than the others. The players just showed up those years.

Players showing up had nothing to do with the captains???

Not a snowball chance in hell Azinger trots out Morikawa and English today. It’s always about the captains.

Partially it is. There’s zero chance even though they asked if have put English or Henley back out.

As well as Fleetwood and McElroy are playing nobody on the US team is playing well enough to beat them. Could not put together any two from how they’ve played and could win.

A classic example today was 11 and 12. 2 of the best 3 shots I saw from either English or Morikawa were inside 8 feet. And the EU players were inside 5. On 16 McElroy hits it tight out of the rough to close it out.

Yesterday they made 2 birdies and Morikawa made them both. Today I’m not sure how many they made, 5? Still lost.

They were yesterday. They’d have lost to any other team that played.

Today? They lost and made how many birdies?

If they were in the 4 spot today playing the way they did they win easy. Henley sucked yesterday, he was just about as bad today from what I saw.

At some point you simply HAVE to stop playing Scottie in foursomes. His record in it is the worst, by far of anyone playing in it currently.

Rory and Lowery vs Thomas and Young
Fleetwood and Rose vs Scottie and Bryson
Rahm and Straka vs Spaun and Xander
Hovland and Fitz vs Cantlay and Burns

US down 8.5 to 3.5. I predicted 8-4. Turns out I was too optimistic.

I’m going with 11 to 5 after the afternoon.

USA has the advantage in exactly none of those matches.

Who has a longer avg drive AND higher fairway %. Henley or Morikawa?

Where did I say that driving accuracy or distance was the reason I would have left Collin off?

My disdain for Morikawa is because he has played like arse the last 6 months, and cant putt. But it’s a mute point because the entire team minus Young is getting worked over

So many times I’ve watched an awful US performance in a Ryder cup. I often walk away thinking that’s the worst performance I’ll ever see by a US team. Somehow, they get worse.
