Anyone have one? Or experience with PXG bags in general? Thinking about ordering it. Looks very nice and has plenty of storage. I basically only golf with a cart so not worried about portability.

May buy a cheap Sunday bag if I decide to walk in the future and just load up a couple clubs as necessary.

After you buy a cart bag you will hate it. Been there done that. Buy a stand bag that is nice and be done with it. You will hate that a cart bag doesn't stand up correctly.

I agree. My dad bought me a cart bag for Christmas of 21. I counted down the days until it was socially acceptable to buy a new one. While I do most of my golf in carts, I also set my bag down places not on a cart quite often. If the ground was unlevel at all, it would fall over. I really missed having legs.

Is that because the actual golf carts will not fit it and cause it to tilt?

They are terrible in that they have a tendency to fall over, are heavy as crap, and take up more room on the cart, in your trunk, in your storage room, etc.

PXG bags are high quality for sure.

I'm not a cart bag guy. I always buy stand bags and I don't have to worry about them falling over.

Same. Actually a little surprised to see the dislike for them. I love my Sun Mountain and it stands up perfectly fine for the last 10yrs.

Now a staff bag? That's a whole nother animal. My Pop bought me one some 15 years ago not knowing anything about golf. Big giant Callaway bag. And had my last name put on it just like he saw the pro's bags...smh.

Needless to say I took some ribbing from my friends over that damn thing.

I think you misread his post. He was saying he doesn't buy cart bags.

Yeah, I have a Sun Mountain cart bag.

But Ive been wanting to replace it for quite a few years now. It's huge and no standlegs is annoying...Wanna do more walking carts as well.

I also want a new 3w and 4w. Also want a new mountain bike too.

My bag never leaves the cart. We pay for storage at the country club so they load it all for us. Takes up no room in my house or my car unless we are traveling and I need to bring the clubs which is relatively rare. But as far as day to day golf I just show up and my cart and stuff is already loaded up and good to go.

I have the black with white PXG in rubber or plastic on it. The rubber has faded to yellow and it looks like crap. I switched to the Ghost 14 way bag.

Cart bags are the worst. Get you a hybrid cart bag at minimum (the one with legs).

But why? As stated above, I have my bag loaded for me every time I golf and it lives at the clubhouse in storage. So I’m not fighting with it really.

Hey, it's your money, so do what your preference is now that you got some opinions on here.

Because people love when others like what they like...it's a nice warm fuzzy feeling. People have his incessant need to broad brush whats best for everyone on the planet based off their own personal experience, many times off their poor choices (bag, how it was packed, etc)

The best option, if possible, is to have two bags. One cart and one stand because both serve a different purpose. My cart bag stands absolutely fine and I have yet to find a hard surface it wouldn't stand on (parking lot, my garage, etc.).

I will say, in general, there are things I don't like about the PXG bag.

-I want single club dividers in my cart bag
-I don't like the fake leather look
-I don't like the external putter club but it's kind of needed without the single club divider
-i think they could have gone with maybe one less pocket and a bigger insulated pocket to carry more than just a water bottle

OP, a stand bag will work better than a Sunday bag and you can usually find used ones on eBay for $50 or so and I have no experience with the PXG but I can say without a doubt, the Callaway Org 16 outperforms my current stand bag (Callaway Fairway C) and every other stand bag I have used in the past in terms of functionality, ease of use and versatility.

My biggest hesitation about the PXG bag. I actually liked the leather look though

Always had 14 way dividers so I guess I’ll see how I like this. I totally agree I need a second bag for carrying if I choose to do so. I’ll probably get around to that eventually. Paying too much for an annual cart pass right now to walk
