I ordered a new Gen 4, 3 wood and got it in 7 days.
It came with a Diamana White Board S+ shaft standard for 249.00
Same shaft is 250.00 at Golf Works last time I looked.

You aren’t getting a sponsorship no matter how hard you try, the woods feel hollow and are shorter than everything else on the market. They feel like shite
Best irons in the business though

Not short for me. A 220 five wood off the deck yesterday at Cinco Ranch is good for me at 66.
I use a TSI 2 Driver, but the PXG Fairways and Hyrbrids have been very solid.

I just ordered the 7 wood gen 4 yesterday. Hit it yesterday morning and really liked it as a replacement for my 4 hybrid. Looking forward to its arrival

They're not apples to apples. Close, but different shafts. You got a made for vs an OEM. Ping is the only company where the Tour shaft is pretty much spec to an OEM shaft but even then, it's made for the head Ping is putting it in.
Glad you got a stick you like though!

My Buddy that got me on PXG, has a Gen 4, 7 wood and hit it on a 194 Par 3 two days ago and left it on the lip of the cup.
He loves that club.

I had one of those in a Nike driver. Definitely not an oem. Damn good shaft though.
In my experience they’re just weaker to flex and not as consistent from shaft to the next. You might have 4 out of 10 that are pretty close to same.

Ten years ago I had a Matrix Ozik TP7 given to me.
It was a 1000.00 shaft and to be honest I like the Adilia VS Proto better.
Pick any 10 shafts and you are lucky to find 2 alike.

I think you misunderstood my point.
An oem Whiteboard is going to produce similar (if not identical) results as another oem WB. You pay a higher premium to ensure the differences are minimal if any. This is so that if Tiger breaks his shaft, he can drop same oem shaft in there and keep rolling. If you take 10 oem WB shafts and compare them to each other, they’ll be identical.
Take a stock driver with a “WB” in it and compare that to 10 other stock drivers with “WB” in em and you’ll get 6-7 different feels and characteristics. Are they authentic WB’s? No clue. Some speculate that they are but they’re the ones that couldn’t meet the stringent specs of the OG WB.
End of the day, it only matters if it works for you. Just wouldn’t pull and try to list somewhere as an oem WB. People get pissy about it… at least on eBay they do. Pro tip, the label under the grip typically has a code to tell you what you got.

Following up on this. Got my Gen 4 7 wood with a Haz Smoke Yellow shaft. Put it in play yesterday and it's a damn rocket launcher. It's a perfect replacement for the 4 hybrid I was struggling to hit.

Most of you guys are too young to remember The Ginty wood which was so easy to dig out of a bad lie or fairway bunker.
My PXG XF 5 wood with the rails on the sole remind me of the ease of effort of hitting the ball out of the rough or tough lie like The Ginty.

Already put a Fuji Ventus Red 70 shaft in it.
Now have Fuji Ventus in all woods.

When should I switch to senior flex?
Do I just buy and try?
Get fit?
Check with friends on the range and see what they are like?
What kind of gains could I experience?

Easy enough to find a Senior flex shaft pull to experiment with.
That can be done cheaply. If you see a big difference, then go get fit to optimize.
Weaker flexes can sometimes can cost you valuable accuracy.

quote:Probably none. Watch the videos on YouTube with a guy hitting multiple flexes. The main benefits are feel and some could be swing related. I know I swing better with a softer feel. If a shaft is too stiff, I will try to flex it from the top. Very bad.
