Pre flighted 2 man scramble March 23-24 at FHCC in Zachary

Pre flighted 2 man scramble at Fennwood Hills in Zachary (6 flights with full field)
2 tee times 8:00 and 1:00 both days
Great payouts each flight and Calcutta
Free beer during play and snacks on course both days
Friday: practice round, Calcutta/open bar and hors d’oeuvres
Saturday: lunch and dinner
Sunday: Lunch
We do 3 Calcutta events each year and they’re always a good time. If you’re looking for something different that weekend come check it out. Can answer any questions here and send flyer to emails

Yes it’s off of handicap and verification from the home club. Also flighted based off past performances in area tournaments. They use a committee of guys that have a pretty good network of golfers in south Louisiana and Mississippi so are able to get a pretty fair flighting. It’s rare but if a team does slip in and it’s determined they’re way off they can be moved after Saturdays round.

The course is in really good shape and is kind of a hidden gem. We do need some more public play ….come check it out one day. Cold beverage on me!

Played there a couple of times recently. First time in 30+ years.
Greens were really nice and fast.

Greens are awesome. Fairways are what you'd expect.
It's a nice little track with lots of events which keeps it interesting.
We signed up for the scramble. My short game is trash right now so not expecting to do much

Sweet! It’ll be a good time
Fairways will never be primo Bermuda but they grow in decent in the summer. Like you said it’s to be expected from a low budget neighborhood course.

Usually on Thursday. It’s either a morning or afternoon shotgun start based on flight. Higher handicap flights are 8:00, championship, 1st and 2nd are at 1:00.

I've never played there. Is it difficult for the public to get on during a weekend morning? That's pretty much my only opportunity.
