If it is below 50 I would rather walk.

Haven't played below freezing, but that is mostly because I have other things going on those months and don't get to play much.

If cloudy, I need about 53 degrees.
Probably pretty close to this. Wind is a factor as well. If still and sunny, I'll be fine down to the low 40s. I just hate how the ball reacts under 50.

Played this Saturday. 8am tee time pushed back to 10am. First off on my home course. 38 degrees at 10 with 10 mph winds. It was miserable until around noon, and then just uncomfortable depending on if sun or not.

Club Pro told us we were idiots, and they were right. It usually takes me a couple of miserable rounds to revert to inside golf or afternoon golf.

Play 2 to 3 times a week, and it's stupid for me to play in bad weather.

I'm OK playing down to mid 30s if I'm walking and there is sun and/or no wind. If it's cloudy and windy, I'm out.

Just bought some fleeced lined pants so I'm comfortable walking down to around 40 assuming the wind is not howling

Pretty much under 40. Although if it was pretty sunny and the course was open for the first time in a while, I would consider lower.

Played 18 today. Upper 48-50 and overcast. If it wasn't so wet, I would take today over any 85+ day. The wet just played havoc on my already terrible short game around the green. Hoodie pullover and thermal leggings under my pants and honestly was thinking it was too much warming up on the range. But was never even chilly out there on the course. Would have been fine dropping the leggings if I walked.

Any of you play with winter gloves? That's the last piece I can see being uncomfortable 10-15+ degrees cooler.

Realistically, we have some frost delays each year. We just go at regular time, and there are enough dropouts that we end up going at our 0930 time.

We may put tarps on greens and close for a few days each year.
