PGA Tour Issues

Obviously all the talk is about Rahm right now, but it seems like the PGA Tour is facing some real organizational issues right now.
This article does a good job of explaining what has been going on at the tour since the merger was announced. Obviously there was a pretty big power play involved when Tiger got added to the Policy Board. The one thing the Tour had over LIV at that time was that it was player run. I could see not wanting to take more money if you got more autonomy. But the Tour pretty much screwed that up. There is a ton of infighting going on between the "Mules" vs. the top players. Oh and everyone's favorite player, Patrick Cantalay (who was called a dick by Rory) might be taking a big leadership role.
To make things even worse, the PGA Tour just lost one of it's biggest sponsors. Wells Fargo dropping sponsorship of Quail Hollow after 2024.
Many people pointed out the financial issues the PGA Tour would have when they raised purses. How Monahan still has a job makes zero sense.

5 more open spots on LIV if Rahm has 3 open spots. I’d expect a few more to make the jump

I may start pulling for Cantalay now

I thought the rumor was Hatton and not Harmon. Harmon doesn't make a ton of sense to be honest. Hatton makes a lot more sense based on the moves they've made thus far

Well, the Tour screwed over their longest-running continuous sponsor (Honda) several times over the last few years to the point Honda dropped out.
Jay also let his virtue-signalling political feelings kill a tournament at one of the most exciting and historic venues on tour (Doral).
When all is said and done, Phil will be vindicated. If they had any sense at all, the PGAT players would run Monahan out of town on a rail.

LIV has 15 (9 guys) of the last 30 major winners. Harman would make sense because he’s won a major, but either would be big since they’re both currently in top 12

All recent major winners make the most sense because winning a major is a 5 year exemption to all majors
Harmon makes the most sense of all recent major winners because his major probably buys him a decent up front fee and he's never been an elite level player on tour. Just one of those solid guys that wins here and there.
I haven't seen a Harmon rumor though.
I saw Meronk and Day that's been denied then I saw Finau and Hatton
