Guy is an arse hole and you should report him. If you were near his house and he said something I'd prolly let it go, but going to the fairway is dumb

People that live on a course and get mad about balls hitting their house are dumb as hell, what'd they think would happen.

Golfers that hit balls that are out of bounds, piss in view of homeowners, and drive carts outside the white stakes are arse holes

ETA: I would not volunteer to pay for a window after breaking it either. It's the homeowners responsibility...

So you've never hit a ball OB or are you admitting to be an a** hole?

People that decided to live just off the fairway at a golf course were all fully aware of the very likely possibility of a golf ball hitting their house. That’s a risk they themselves were willing to take and should have planned for insurance-wise. I’ll never offer up any of my money for a risk they decided to take. I will however apologize profusely if I hit a house and the owner comes out.

Pretty sure he means hitting a ball from OB.

I meant if I hit one ob into a yard then don’t go hit it from the yard. Drop it somewhere in play

This is the exact approach I’d take. Obviously I feel bad and didn’t want to break the window but it’s not my responsibility

I play with our Rep from New York that owns his own golf course. Because of that ownership, he can play almost anywhere. We normally play the Bayou Club in Largo, Fl. Where he is member. Calls me and asks "Are you in town?" Meet me on Tuesday 9am for our Tee Time. Normally I drive the corner of a dog leg left and make the green for clear shot to the green in two on a Par 5 hole.

I missed ....and carved it a little too far left .....bam, bam, bam ......suddenly a female voice shouts out "Fore!"

We got to the dogleg and there she stood ....Orange bikini obviously someone's trophy wife ...."Loose this?"
"I apologize ....interested in being a caddy the rest of the day? On second thought....I couldn't afford you." She was pleasant and said ...."I think the next house, we need to be ...." "Either behind the tee or the first house in line ...then you wouldn't have deal with jokers like me." She laughed ..."Did I break anything?" "No" "I can come up there with you and break something then hang around a bit longer." "You need to go back home." "Thanks"

We had a lady like this where my friends and I played in high school. She fricked with the wrong group of teenage shitheads out there. We all had memberships and nothing to do all summer but play. We started taking a stroke off your score if you hit her house and you got to place the ball in the middle of the fairway and hit 2. She ended up moving a few months later.

I never said it wasn’t and I’m not proud of it. 16 year old kids do dumb shite especially to people that fricked with them.

He is right your buddy should take some lessons, that said everyone hits bad shots and he should shut his pie hole. A foot slip didn’t cause the slice your boy hit lots of foul balls.
