Wife and I have tickets for tomorrow as well. We’ll be there all day as I want to see the Australians tee off in the morning and she likes Hovland

I didn't realize how many top level names were playing this week. Good field.

Burns made 8 birdies on his own today. He and Billy Ho are -9 for the day.

Greens don’t look pretty on TV but supposed to be rolling well.

Are the concessions taking cash or just cards? And are their ATMs available?

Every single player/duo is under par through the end of the first day. Is that some kind of record?

It’s not surprising given the Round 1 format combined with one of the easiest courses on the PGA Tour. There won’t be many net bogeys in a bestball format with two pros

Tomorrow's format should have quite a few 70s on the leaderboard.

I agree with you and not arguing the validity. Just thought it would be a notable stat/record

The concessions on #9 only took cards, so that’s all I used the rest of the day. They did have tip jars that accepted cash though.

What I found funny was on #8, Sam had like a 3 foot putt for birdie and Billy was trying to tell Sam how to putt it. Now Sam had been making everything and Billy couldn't make anything. Sam missed it. I know Sam had to be thinking "you should have left me alone".

You are likely correct for yesterday, but Billy has won this tournament twice. I’d take his advice most of the time.

Is there any food available to general admission besides the hit dog, burger, and pasta at the concession tents?

The Tito’s tent on 9th has fried chicken, shrimp wraps, salads, sandwiches...also had a full bar.

Got out there at eight this morning was actually pretty chilly sun came out around 11 and it got nice. It’s crazy how fast alternate shot goes. It seemed like some groups played the front nine in about an hour and 15 minutes
