Need Wedge Advice

Currently play the PW and SW that came with my set. I also have a 60 degree. In a typical round, I rarely use my PW. I'm usually in 9i or SW distance if I'm hitting approach shots. My SW is probably my most used club, which I typically hit around 100yds.
If I'm buying a true wedge to replace it, would it be better to go with a 56 degree or 54 degree? Buy the 56 and keep the SW and drop the PW? (IIRC, my set SW is a 54.)

If your PW is 46 and you lob is 60, I'd stick with a 54 SW to keep the gaps a little more even.

What are your distances on PW, and 9i?
If anything, I'd go 52 and 58 combo for best gapping.

You pretty much want 4° of separation between your wedges.
So 60°, 56°, 52°, 48°

I play a 52 in between my PW (48) and my SW (56). Come in clutch with 3/4 shots as well as up hill pitches that require more roll versus more spin.

I think it really depends on the type of wedge player that you are. Some people can get away with 54 58 combo and choose to add another club at the top of the set. I use the 52 56 60 combo because I like the versatility it offers me around the green. I use each wedge equally in different situations, others will be fine with using primarily one club greenside. It's all about building a set around the strengths and weaknesses in your game.

50, 54, 60 here. Depending on the course, I'll pull my hybrid or 4i and carry a 58 too.

I only use my 56, fantastic and versatile club

I am starting to do the same. I have grown A LOT more consistent around the greens because of it too. I know exactly what the ball is going to do.
I use a 52 (bent to 51) for approaches and I'll use my 60 for certain shots that I need to carry a bunker/obstacle, but for the most part my 56 is my go to wedge.
