Need a new shaft for my driver

The shaft in my driver broke in half today. It broke across my back in my follow through. In case anybody was wondering the drive was about 300 down the middle on a 360yd par 4. I made par because I suck at golf.

The shaft was a 60gram stiff Aldila RIP that was cut down to play between stiff and xstiff. It fit me perfect. I don't know which end was cut or what it was cut down to. I actually bought the shaft from Janky when he was in a mood swing so maybe he can chime in.

Any suggestions for what might compare to that shaft if I can't find one like it for a price I'm willing to spend? I'm also assuming I can take the tip off of my broken shaft and put it on a new one (it's a ping G30) but I'm a little golf equipment illiterate

Go back to your dirt baw job on west Texas, grab a piece of rebar, hot melt the head, and weld on the rebar.

I can fix you up. I work for a company that sells shafts.

You are clearly exerting too much nitro. If I was you I would go to a fitting place and ask for the stiffest shaft they have, take it home, and fill with cement.

I have the same shaft and you can buy them on eBay. Mine is in a Titleist 913.

As far as stiffness, it's probably been cut on the butt end where your grip is. Try and connect the two broken ends together as best as possible and measure the length of your driver. Its likely been shortened from factory length.

If you like the ping club head, take the new shaft and club head with broken shaft in it to a club maker and switch them out. That easy.

There's no way I'm spending that kind of money on a shaft not knowing if it will work for me. It sure is pretty though

What's wrong with the current one? Is it the stock shaft?

It's not that there is really anything wrong with it, but I do tend to lose it left more than I think i should. I just like fiddling-it keeps me interested in the game. It's the made for TM Kuro Kage in R. When I was fitted, I hit that shaft about the same in R and S, but R felt better so I went with it. I did not spend a lot of time with many other shafts.

I'd possibly be able to step up to a regular flex, but that's not gonna work. Thanks though. Someone should grab it at that price.
