Any recommendations? I’d prefer to keep it around $400 tops but if there’s something out there that’s amazing at $500 I wouldn’t be opposed to ponying up.

The new Maverick is a hot driver now.

But honestly, get fitted. I ended up with a Rouge with a Synergy shaft.

Lot of good data there. But get fitted.

If ur gonna spend that much money, get fitted. If you don’t, well then you’ve wasted your money. The technology in the club means absolutely nothing if the specs don’t meet what fits your swing.

2019 or 2020 drivers:

Ping
Callaway
TM
Cobra

I game the Cobra F9 (2019) and love it but I’ve mostly played Ping drivers

If I were buying a driver right now, it would be the F9.

TXG Tour Golf Experience just completed a 2020 Driver Bracket challenge.
10 of the hottest drivers.
Finals were Callaway Mavrik and the Cobra Speedzone Xtreme.
Worth watching just to see Matt hit it 350.

maybe next time you post in a thread that's asking for advice, bring something of substance instead of posting comments no one gives a shite about

In my opinion, the Callaway Epic Flash SubZero is the best one I’ve hit. Great feel and sound.

Okay, here it goes

Go get fitted, if the price is too high take your specs and browse eBay to see if you can find a used one. Once you have your shiny new driver, please don't say that you "game" it.

In a moment of weakness and boredom, I bought a Cobra Speedzone Extreme with a stock shaft after reading and watching several reviews. Much to my surprise, it has currently knocked out the Titleist TS3 with a custom Atmos Tour Spec shaft that I was fitted for last year.

You almost have to deliberately try to miss a fairway with the Cobra and there does not appear to be any loss of distance right now. That being said, when the course dries out, the Titleist may be longer since it has a low spin shaft that just hits penetrating line drive bullets that run. The Cobra seems to be all carry. The big question will be whether I put the Atmos shaft in the Cobra driver? Not sure about that.

Is there ever a demo day around BR?

I know prob not in the near future, but it would be great to be able to have 6 or 7 different ones on the range you can directly compare.
