This. I’ve always struggled with the 3w and I don’t like hitting hybrids. I went with a strong 5w and a 7w setup, then to 4i. It fit perfectly

5 wood probably the best club in my bag. I can choke down and hit it 220 or let it eat and hit it 245. I rarely use my 3 wood. Wide open long par 5s are the only time I really pull it out

I have a similar issue. I cannot hit the 3Wood unless its on a tee.
I have the Stealth 2 4 hybrid and it is the best club in my bag. I played with few course pros (not MBlock) and they had been given the first model from Taylor Made and they had told me a year ago that the first model was their favorite club in the bag.
I know you are asking for the 5w but I would give the 4 hybrid a try also

I have a TM Sim 3 and 4h that go about 215-230 and 200-215 respectively.
