Just an update on my round yesterday. Halilulia....WE WERE OFF THE PATH YESTERDAY. It was glorious once again to play golf with no plugged t shots and virtually clean golf balls. Money Hill is the greatest $75 green fee in history. It is in virtually perfect shape and absolutely gorgeous with blooming Azelias everywhere. You can get on with a phone call from a local pro. MH is pretty hard too. 7000 from the black tees and 6700 from the gold tees. Get up there soon.

I always heard people raving about how great it was when I lived in Hammond. Unfortunately I never made it over there. I always forget about it when thinking of where to play. I need to make an effort to get over there.

You have no idea what you’re talking about, guest fee is $98

For the record I was out there yesterday playing in my match play for the MGA and I was very pleased with the condition after playing the last couple of weekends being miserable

Hey King Ranch, you are wrong on 3 of your 4 points. First, there is a cart path which is marked with pink tassels down the side of the fairway. 2) our pro in Mandeville got us on 3) we paid $75 4) your are correct though that the course is in great shape. I did see a bunch of old guys playing in front of us. Hope you did well in your MGA.

KR isn’t wrong. Your pro got you a deal. A regular member couldn’t call and get it.

Yes, there is a “cart path” that is marked during the winter for wet days. Your pro must be Fred. $75 must be the Wednesday at noon price.

Best Golf Course in South, La, and your local pro might be able to get you on.

Played today, greens on the back 9 are better than the front. Fairways were stil pretty wet in spots, but I’ll chalk that up to all the drainage projects that they’re doing. My only real complaint with Money Hill is how many holes dogleg left. 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17. Better bring your draw.

Let’s open a Blue Oak in Abita by the brewery. We’d break even feeding King Ranch alone.

I’ve played once. Very nice place.

It’s quiet up there. Like unnervingly so.

Have played it a couple of times. Definitely like it better than anything in Lafayette.

I don't think it's better than Oakbourne...

You could argue you like the layout better at Money Hill but Oakbourne has been better conditioned than the two times I played Money Hill
