Mizuno MP18 SC vs Titleist AP3

They're not very comparable. The MP-18, while still a "split cavity" doesn't offer that much more forgiveness than the blade. But it's forged and very soft and is a beautiful club. The AP3 is cast. It's much bigger. And I don't like the looks. It's an odd offering, imo. With the 5 irons from titleist, I'm not sure where a 6th one fits in.

But seriously, other than simply being a "new club" from Titleist, they're pretty pointless. It's the AP1 with a thinner topline at the AP2 price.

I agree, it's a very confusing club to me. Id just assume make a combo set out the AP1 / AP2 and get max benefits of both. I don't get it.

Update. Hit all mizuno today and the AP3s. Really liked the Ap3s. Very long but good feel. Low spin (possibly a bit two low), but felt great .

Yeah looking at a shaft with a little lower kickpoint. Somewhat weird numbers. Swing speed in low 90s. Ball speed in 120s to 130s with 7 iron. Spin around 4500.
