I’m getting ready to buy new clubs. Don’t want to spend a fortune but also want a good set.
I’m looking at sub70’s 699 irons. Does anybody have any experience with sub70 clubs?

Just got 699 pros and I love them. If you order make sure you call Jason, the CEO. He will talk with you about your game for 30 minutes and make recommendations. You can also send them your specs from a fitting and they will make the clubs for you. Customer service is top notch.

I15s are 9 years old thinking about making a switch too just unsure of where to even look. Played pings for some time. Hit some Honmas the other day and was impressed. The new Taylormades look so good at setup any good ball strikers out there switched recently

I'm planning on Srixon, but you can never go wrong with Ping IMO. If they made a good looking i210, I'd be all over them.

I do. I have a set of 623M’s. I came to them from z745s and I love them. But, I think I love my z745s more. They play similarly except the New Level doesn’t have v-sole, but they have a pre-worn leading edge. They’re pretty solid clubs and they have pretty much every shaft option though some are up charge.

Were y'all fit for them or hit them before you bought them?

Sub 70 will rent out demo clubs to you for $20, I think a 6 and 9 iron are available. I plan on trying the 699 pro and new 649 irons at some point this spring. Have seen nothing but positive reviews online for all of their clubs

Took numbers from hitting in the bay with trackman and worked with Clay to get the right fit for my swing (KBS Tour 90 V). Also got rid of the Nike iron and replaced it with 699 U 19.5 with Project X 6.0 graphite that I nuke of the tee boxes for position golf or long Par 3s!

They have a set at The Bluffs in the pro shop. I wonder if they have a demo set. $500 for a new set of clubs is unreal cheap

I just emailed Jason, the CEO, to setup a time to talk with someone about which clubs they recommend. It is nice to know that everyone has said great things about their clubs.

Yes a 6 and a 9 irons will be sent to you for $120 but when you return demo's, they will refund you $100. I am going to demo the 739's. Should get it later in the week maybe with this weather.

Jason the CEO called me within 3 hours of my email and asked me some questions about my game. When I get those questions answered we are going to talk again and he is going to make suggestions and build the 699s, 939 3-wood, and wedge to suit me.

Extremely nice guy. I don’t know much about club customization. He made it very easy and was extremely patient with me.
