Pot meet kettle. Pride can't hold a candle to you and Jim when it comes to LIV obsession and delusion.
Mostly delusion.

Brother there is a war in the Middle East that forced PIF to shift their investment strategy
This has nothing to do with viewership
LIV would have continued for years with the PIF money
So, is the argument here that LIV would've been successful if their deep pocketed sugar daddy didn't pull out? I guess LIV can hang their hats on being the equivalent of a nepo baby that would've made it big if their daddy didn't get tired of funding his failing business.

You need mental help with this LIV stuff. Bro can't you just make one shitty thread and talk to yourself in it? We don't need a new thread for every article about LIV.
ETA: didn't see you start a thread about the PGA tour likely losing their biggest sponsor either in FedEx.
The contract expires in 2027. That's how contracts work. The shaking things up has certainly put things up in the air.
And nothing I've read says "likely". Just uncertain. But you use the words you think works best to trick people. Nice little subtle tactic isn't it?? Switching out just one word makes a big difference.

many sources don’t expect the deal to be renewed after it expires after the 2027 season.
Quote from an article written by one of the PGA Tour's official media partners.
Why are you all incapable of saying anything bad about the PGA tour?

Concrete evidence from those sources.
Nah, I don't really care much about this drama all that much. I do like watching people play good golf on tv sometimes. I only watch the majors. Maybe the Wyndham too since I've played Sedgefield CC quite a few times and it's local. I also think LIV screwed up pro golf already.
And I don't think anyone likes the change going on with the PGA events.

Huh? I literally started a thread after trump Doral saying it was an absolute bust of an event for the PGA tour
I also started a thread saying I hate the changes coming

This pretty much killed it. LIV golfers only playing 10 events in 2027 & nowhere else to play? Congrats golf establishment, you finally did it
LOL!!!! Dude, it was dead the second PIF pulled out.
Also, the golf establishment didn’t kill LIV. LIV and its dumb ideas to “Make Golf Louder” did. Guaranteed contracts to players that now don’t have to grind or give a shite, trying to get points when you play 54 hole no cut events with zero qualifying criteria, terrible golf broadcasts, amongst other things killed it. You can thank your boy Norman for all that.

Sure but they presumably had found an investor contingent on Rahm being a part of it. LIV was going to continue in 2027.
If it all falls apart for 2027, then it is because of DP Tour enforcing fines again & no conditional releases. Rahm/Hatton/etc aren’t fighting that again

Get a grip. I’ve heard it was a loan and not an investment and I still doubt Rahm would want to play for “equity” in a team that isn’t worth anything. Rahm is leaving no matter what. Bryson will be the lone holdover because I doubt the PGA wants to deal with him at this point.
