Those are some mighty strong accusations from an account that has been mostly pro LIV during this entire saga.

Because that didn’t happen. They have a deal through 2027. The “news” was the St Jude not being earmarked as a tier 1 event

lol the pga tour is a real business and successful sports franchise with dozens of major successful corporate partnerships. Those entities change naming sponsors and sponsorship structures all the time.
Wyndham dropping out of the NC tournament, they’re getting Raymond James to pay more. Honda dropped out, they’re getting Cadillac to pay more.
The tour is revamping their entire operating system, including playoff structure, in 2028 and so it should be expected that the current sponsorship and playoff deal, which ends that exact year, wouldn’t carry over.
To try to act like this is some gotcha or equivalent to PIF as LIV burns and is cancelling events is incredibly on brand for the LIV boys.
Remember the “full speed ahead this is all a pga tour psyop” after the initial news about PIF broke in May? Then the “Apple/F1 are the mystery investors LIV is so back” bullshite we got a couple of weeks ago? Just take the L.
