If I were a LIV golfer or employee, that message would not give me the warm fuzzy feeling. No message on a commitment from PIF after this season. In fact, it never actually denies the reporting from today, just says that the media speculates.

It’s very clear that there was significant doubt inside of LIV as to whether they would in fact be able to continue the season.
They must’ve gotten an 11th hour commitment from PIF to finish out the year

I disagree. I think LIV was informed that PIF was pulling out at the end of the year and it got erroneously reported as an immediate withdrawal.

Idk, the previous email reference is odd. As are the reports that they hard started to miss some payments.
Regardless it’s irrelevant at this stage. They’ve gotten some level of funding to continue the season to some degree

Well I’ve dealt in the past with some of the Saudi’s making these decisions. That they’re willing to lose face is a fair indication the losses due to this conflict are pretty significant.
That’s not to say they won’t change and finance it, but the FS1 and tennis funding going down as well says IMO LIV is toast after this year if they don’t get another major backer.
Which I don’t think will happen.

LIv without PIF is impossible to maintain
Also , saying we are doing great and then the next sentence you say you have to fight like crazy to survive after this year is wild
Any LIV employee not looking for another job right now is crazy
They are going to have to right like hell to finish this season . Some players are going to bail

LIv has already pulled the interview from this morning where he said funding is done and they are going to have to fight like hell to make it next year
