I have no problem admitting I am cheering for drama too.
Also the fact that Rory is heading up the charge as the face of the PGA Tour in all this makes me want LIV to succeed more. frick fake woke Rory.

Yeah it’s cringy. I’m not sure what else he could say. But it’s uncomfortable to watch. Pride? Thoughts on the commish? I didn’t think he made any compelling points. Just asking why? Ummmmm millions of dollars is why. Especially considering they granted exemptions for a Saudi tourney just this year.

I don’t love Jay Monahan, but nothing he’s done has been as cringey as Greg Norman’s “surely you jest” letter to the PGA tour.

CBS golf broadcasts are so fricking terrible across the board. From the lack of shots shown, the awful fluff pieces, Nantz/Faldo on the call, Amanda not showing her tits, etc.

Ok. I think Monohan is cringy in this interview. However, as I previously mentioned, I don’t know what else he can say. He is handling it fine. But it’s rough to admit you allowed players to go play in Saudi Arabia earlier this year and then chastise them and ask them if they “ever had to apologize for playing on the pga tour.”

I’ve probably been more critical of NBC/CBS than most on this board with the lack of golf shots shown. Its brutal.
