Wilson Staff balls are criminally underrated, especially their low compression balls. The Duo line is fantastic, especially the Spin and Urethane models.
If you’re penny pinching, the 50 Elite balls are only $1 each and play just fine.
Mid to high handicappers should look at Wilson Staff balls.
The 50 elite is not a real bad ball...especially for the price. They have fairly good distance to them and decent around the greens. Also, they are pretty durable and can take a beating. Haven't tried the Duo.

I still like the ProV1 or ProV1X.
I have tried the Vice balls (I think it was the Pro or Pro Plus) and they don't feel the same as a ProV1 to me around the greens. They feel decent off the club face.
I have also hit and like some of the other premium level balls like the TaylorMade TP5 and the Callaway Chrome Soft but these are just as pricey as the ProV1 so I just stick with the Titleist.

Been playing snell mtb’s until the new snell mtb Black came out. I can’t tell much difference in it and other urethane balls. Great price point so I don’t have to worry bout slinging one in the drink.

I play Srixon Z-Star XV. I hit the Srixon soft feel yesterday and they flew just as far and with the same control.
The soft feel are a great ball for the price.

I've got two rounds in with the Vice Pro and they feel the same to me as my usual Pro V1.
I'm sure if I was good enough to play on tour, I could notice a difference. But as a single digit, it feels the same and seems to react the same around the greens.
I've talked to a couple guys who have played them and they seem to agree.

Everyone playing the prov1 should check out the variety of 3 piece urethane balls available, or try call away or taylormades your ball. Titleist has had such a grip on the market that the other guys did 2 things: 1) built a 3 piece ball at a lower price like the project (a) or 2) built a better tour ball as a four or five piece ball. Personally I want a ball with good green side spin but less spin off the dull shots as I tend to hit it steep and spin makes it balloon and lose distance control in the wind..so I test out new golf balls with that in mind. Titleist does have excellent quality control at their USA factories so you are getting a consistent product with them.

I've used Bridgestone B330 and E6 a good bit. Played the Calloways from Costco for a few years. Never liked the feel of the Pro-Vs.
But my wife's grandparents gave me a case of Wilson Smart Core. Pretty cheap balls. Was gonna give them all to my son to lose on the course, but I tried them one day and haven't used anything since. Even bought another case. I love the way they play. I smash them off the tee and the have a soft feel around the green. Plus if you happen to lose a couple during the round, you're not out $6.

I've tried all of the premium balls, really like the Bridgestone Tour B RXS, but always go back to Chromesoft. Srixon Zstar is a good ball as well
