Played two weekends ago. Greens and fairways were nice but still a little soft from rains. Rough was very high, hadn’t been cut in a while it seems. Bunkers were not in great shape. No driving range and holes on the practice green were practically caving in, must not be moving them. Played On Sunday at 11, BIL and I were the only people on the course. When we finished there was still nobody else there. Over priced with no amenities right now.

I’m not going back there just on principle unless he reopens the range. Ridiculous. It doesn’t need to be what it was, but frick if I can’t go hit a few balls before I play.

Any reason why they wouldn’t re-open the range?

Direct from Trey's mouth: "I'm losing my arse on people stealing the range balls" lol.

It's a crock of shite

Same. At least drop the price to reflect a course that doesn't have a range. It's still priced like a top notch facility with all the amenities. Bro, your "clubhouse" is still trailers.

In my opinion, Trey has never been honest about LaTour. After the storm he closed because of *tree damage* to the course. First, there were no large trees on the course and suddenly, he now has a FEMA contract. Then he reopens only 9 holes because of the "zoysie grass problem." He now complains he will not reopen the range because of "theft of range balls" yet pre–Hurricane Ida, the course and range was fully open, and he was losing about 75K-125K per month.

Lots of people but kind of the price of doing business imo.

Played it recently. I’d call it good. No complaints.
