Increasing club head speed

Of all the aspects of my game this is probably were I should be spending the least amount of my time but I’ve got it in my head that I want to reach 120+mph clubhead if for nothing else than the hell of it. What are some good tips or aids y’all have found to help increase your CH speed?
Currently play between 105-112mph but even when I reach back for another gear I can’t seem to get past about 118.
I realize this won’t help my game at all but call it the downside of having a sim and having to much data in front of me.

Both Rory and Bryson ascribe to doing all out range session with driver every so often. You basically swing as hard as you can for 30 plus minutes without worrying where the ball is going. The goal is to tire the CNS and essentially retrain the body to swing faster.
Speed sticks also work but there are some horror stories about fricking up your swing and your joints out there.

I did this lastnight. Little sore today.

Overspeed training works if you stick with it. Check out the Stack system or similar.
Any explosive exercises will help. Things like box jumps, lunges, sprints.
A fundamentally sound swing is probably most important for creating max speed. Things happening in the right sequence. Maybe see a good instructor if you haven’t already.

More of a baseball name.

My game would benefit by me spending way more time on chipping and putting but the fact I’ve never got the launch monitor to read a 300yd drive has got me stuck on playing with club and balls speeds for now

Not sure how old you are, but that’s not exactly slow. A good strike at 105 is gonna get you 250+ in carry and if it’s controlled you’re in pretty good shape most of the time.
That said I found a several things on YouTube recently that I’ve been working on because I’m after a bit more swing speed. I’m trying to get about 5mph more of controlled speed.. currently all out I’m at like 108ish.
I also , came across a video by Mr Short Game where he lost some weight and picked up a little speed. Now he wasn’t exactly a fatass to begin with but he did lose something like 10-15lbs and picked up a few mphs doing that. Hoping that’s also part of the puzzle for me. Because Lord knows I could stand to lose a bit

A few years ago and in my high school days, I could swing 120 at my peak. Now, I’m in the 112–117 range.
The 3 things that I am realizing increase distance more than “clubhead speed” are launch angle, attack angle and backspin.
If you hit the ball at a launch angle of 14-17 degrees, a positive attack angle of 5 plus degrees, and drop your spin to 1900-2500, you are going to hit balls that carry 300 yards, let alone roll out to 300 yards.
You could technically make 2 swings at 115 mph, and hit one with a 10 degree launch angle and the other with a 16 degree launch angle, and there is going to be a distance difference of about 30 yards.
I will say, my fastest swings seem to be the ones I don’t necessarily try to swing the hardest. The key for me is making a full, wide backswing. I like to feel my left arm/shoulder fully extend and tuck underneath my chin on the backswing. The next key part is not rushing on the downswing and keeping your back towards the target for as long as possible and trying to time your speed for the bottom of your downswing vs the top of your downswing.
Another thing that has helped is not immediately whipping the club inside on the backswing. I used to get to far inside/out, but I find taking the club straight back or even a hair outside is putting me in a better position to generate speed and a straighter ball flight (it’s hard to maximize distance if you are hitting balls with tons of sidespin).

Mid 30s. I could use to drop a few lbs myself. Metabolism has finally started to slow down. Had to go buy new golf shorts this spring because I was about to blow the buttons off all the 32s I’ve been able to wear for 15 years. ??
Tighter dispersion would benefit me more than a few more yards for sure. Just swapped to a Ventus velocore 6-X so hopefully that will help in that regard.

This is my biggest weakness. My tempo is a little aggressive. Been trying the last week or two to almost pause at the top and give my hands time to drop before uncorking

Probably some combination of three things:
1. Can’t say I’ve used them but I’ve heard good things about speed training, Stack system, speed sticks, etc. The science says they work.
2. A) Strength training, with a specific focus on explosive movements and B) mobility and yoga training. Also, don’t eat like shite and drink a ton of beer.
3) I assume you’ve done this already, but getting fit on the driver is important.

One thing that’s helped me get from 110 to about 115 is just using an orange whip. I’ll be honest, I got the temu version. It’s just helped me get tension out of my swing. I just use it over and over in warmups. 7 iron was 88. I can get it up to 95 but 92 is where I’m playing right now. Just getting rid of a little tension has helped a lot.

is there a thread for people like me...old and max 75mph swing speed...

I love my swing stick. Great for loosening up, and it really does strengthen your swing muscles. I use it mainly for increasing flexibility in my swing and strength.
Totally worth it. Think they're only like $50.

I got paired up with one of these baws the other week.
Dude didn’t miss a fairway and was absolutely deadly 100 and in. He hit it about 215 off the tee.
Every single chip was within 6 feet.

I got them earlier this year since they were like $45 on Amazon. I don't have a launch monitor to give an exact swing speed, but statistically according to my Arrcos stats, I'm about 10-15 yards longer this year.
They seem to work, could be placebo effect, could be something else, but at a minimum, they definitely help you warm up.

I got this knock off speed stick thing, and it has helped me considerably. I wasn't sure if it would work, and it's much cheaper, so I got the knock off. It works well enough that I haven't bought the real thing.
