If I were interested in changing from a Pro V1, which golf balls should I consider?

Curious about your thoughts on what balls may be the best option. I’ve played Pro V1s for a long while, but the new golf balls out there have me interested. I currently play a draw, hit the ball high with a fair amount of spin.

What are you hoping to accomplish by changing balls?

If you want to save money, Snell MTB X

If you want better performance, there probably isn’t a ball that’s much better.

Something with 3 finger holes. But get fit so they drill them in the right place.

Why are you buying Pro Vs when every scrub in the country is hooking and slicing sleeves on end OB? I’ve never seen so many on the course as this year

I concur with Snell MTB-X (blue box). Replaced my Pro V’s with them about a year ago.

Snell was KIA during COVID but they just started taking orders again on the website. I’d recommend the Snell 6er on cyber Monday. I still have some balls from last year and they’ve been awesome.

Srixon ZStars feel & play the closest to a ProV1, imho.
Most guys I play with like the TP5 a lot

Try the ZStar line. I play ProV1x or ZStar XV. Really like both balls.

About two months ago I went from ProV to Taylor Made Tour Response. I’ve been very happy with the durability of the ball and the response off the club face.

I used to work for a Jr tour and really the only perk was I would get a box of ProV whenever I want. Had cases. After all these year I’m almost out. Been looking to see if I like a cheaper option. Wasn’t super impressed with the vice ball. Snell is next
