What are the most important etiquette and just how to conduct myself tips you can give me? I’m going to suck, but I don’t want to be annoying, also.

Don’t be loud. Don’t talk in a backswing or once the person addresses the ball to hit it.

Did you tell him about the fricking golf shoes?

Allow people to play through.

After bout 5 over just pick up your ball and move to the next hole.

I hope you do better than I do.
I'm a strong putter. It just takes me 20 iron shots to get to the green. I would be better off bashing the ball down the fair way with my Bullseye putter than to use an iron.
ETA: I also have a water hazard psychosis. Webb Hill CC near Greenville Texas has a water hazard on the second hole. I used to play there, and my ball would go in the water every time. No matter what club, tee or no tee, ball was going in the water.

Just pick the ball up after like 10 mis hits and try fresh next hole.

Keep up with the group in front of you. Don't damage the greens and fix ball marks. Rake bunkers. You have to play the hole with your dick out if your tee shot doesn't make it past the lady's tees.

If people behind you are waiting for you to hit or find your ball or whatever. Let them play through.

Play fast. Bring a shitload of balls and don’t spend more than a minute or two looking for wayward shots. If you saw it go into the woods, don’t bother looking. Just drop in the fairway and keep it moving.
If you are really struggling on a hole and your partners are either way ahead of you on said hole, just pick up.
Walk up and hit the ball. Your third practice swing ain’t gonna do anything for you.

wear a collared shirt
dont spend forever looking for a lost ball.
be ready to play when it's your turn
if a faster group is behind you, move to the side and let them play through
dont make a lot of noise

Yeah just don’t take forever. Like others said pick up your ball after a while and don’t spend a ton of time looking for a lost one either. Just play with the pace of your group and you will be fine.

Do you know anything about proper grip and swing? May want to watch a few videos on youtube and go to the driving range to hit some balls around before diving into a full game blind.

After you have hit equal to 3 shots over par on a hole, pick up your ball and wait until the next hole. You will do the people behind you a favor and the people you are playing with will respect you for it
Otherwise, have fun
