With some Googling, I noticed TexAgs had a bunch of threads on this topic (conditions, pricing, waitlists, etc..). I think it'd be beneficial for one here.

Considering dropping KCC as they've raised dues with no benefit. Apparently ClubCorp's owner is about to sell out.

I'm in Rice Military so anything is probably going to be a hike. Looking for under $5k and ~ $5/600 per month.

I've contacted Pine Forest and am waiting on a response. Any other ideas?

Riverbend CC should be a option.

I love the course and it has one of the best lockerroom environments around.

It's a shame that Braeburn CC is located where it is.

I thought that I heard that Houston CC was running a special membership.

Hey is Nino's still open by you?

I love their Veal Chop.

Haven't been over there in a few years.

Also, love Lankford Grocery for burgers .

Have never thought of Riverbend. Looks nice and I'll inquire.

From a TexAgs post in late '21:

Full Equity Membership
Westwood - $35k with ~$785/mo in dues
Sugar Creek - $12k with ~$655/mo in dues
Pine Forest - $10k with ~$715/mo in dues
Riverbend - $5k with ~$650/mo in dues

Junior Membership
Westwood - $17.5k with ~$635/mo in dues (36-40 yo)
Sugar Creek - $7k with ~$405/mo in dues (30-35 yo)
Pine Forest - $3k with ~$590/mo in dues (21-40)
Riverbend - $1.5k with ~$504/mo in dues (35-39)

Funny - I know the owner. Haven't been there in awhile but it is. Italian in Houston isn't the greatest for all the various options.

Is Frankie the owner or did his daughter take over ?

If I could talk my group into joining Riverbend I would in a minute.

Daughter I believe.

Cool. I'm going to see if I can get a round.

Haven't played Pine Forest since the Charlie Epps days.

I figured that the dues would be pretty high these days.

Honestly KCC is hard to beat especially with 72 holes.

That’s what I hear and have a significant contact there. Has to be over $15k though.

Probably. It’s a couple notches above Pine Forrest and Sugar Creek IMHO.

I’ve played Riverbend a few times when I was in town. Really love the locker room as well. Cool vibes there

The booklet they sent me was $45k with almost $900/month in dues. Junior member is $10k with $629 dues.

Supposed to be going to $50k+ soon from what I hear. Also a 6 month wait right now with 50% due to get on list

I understand Sweetwater in Sugarland is running specials. One of their corses is/was under renovations after losing the greens to the freeze.

It is currently a CBIGG course which gives a few other options in Houston area.

LINK

Most of the Houston area courses have the membership costs on their site.

Do you happen to have any info on Golf Club of Houston? My wife and I are looking at houses in Fall Creek. I've seen initiations in the range of $15k and $30k.
