I'll pair it with a shaft of my choice.

TIA

They are all equally pushing the limit on max distance. What they’re now perfecting is forgiveness. Ping 410 and Callaway Mavrik seem to have the lead in that regard currently. Although the shaft will be much more important for more consistent strikes.

If I were in the market, I would be looking hard at the Cobra SZ or Titleist. Ping G410 after those 2

I’ve never had luck with Callaway or TaylorMade except for the burner when it first came back. That’s purely anecdotal.

Thanks.

I’ll look at those 2. I accidentally put a high torque shaft in my driver once as a test and I removed it immediately. Club head stayed open leading to everything going right.

Ping g410 has been shown to be the most forgiving in several tests

I have the Cobra F9, I absolutely love it. I wish performed with my irons like I do with my F9.

Ping G410 homer here.

Long, forgiving and come with a good shaft Tensi Orange.

I have hit all the others. Heads are the same, shafts make the difference IMO. Taylormade never did it for me for some reason.

Most underrated: Mizuno, damn good driver.

You’ve hit taylor mades with the twist face tech? I’ve got a sim max hybrid. My typical miss is on the toe. It goes dead straight every time. Might be a pull or push based on a lazy address from time to time, but it doesn’t hook or slice. I’ll be fitted for a new driver, but won’t be shocked if that one is near the top for me.

I just went through a fitting. For me the SIM and Mavrick were the longest but TS2 was the straightest

hit today at Golf Connection in Lafayette.

my driver first as a basis, which is a 915 7.5* with Aldila RIP 60
1. Mavrick S Evenflow 60g
2. TS3, was just sitting there. not sure what shaft, it was a 60S so i just swung it.
3. Ping LST with Even Flow 75 6.0. cranked down to 8*

i hit all of them almost exactly the same.
the Mavrick was smooth and i would have liked to try the Sub Zero but didn't think about it in the moment.

However the Ping won out for me. I really liked the lines standing over it, very comfortable, and seemed to swing easier despite the heavier shaft.
Early on he was pushing me towards the Callaway but after i hit the Ping he said it was the best.

so I ordered one from them, trying to support the local businesses. (practically no stock in store)
Will be my first Non-Titleist Driver since i started with the 975D in high school.
i've played the 975D, 975J, 905R, 909D3, 910D3, 915D3.

Looking at a G410..

Passed on one with an Alta 55 CB X and I’m looking at one with either a Project X Evenflow 75g 6.5 or a Tour X 65.

Anyone have thoughts on either of those 2 shafts? Leaning towards the Project X..

Two different types of shafts. I personally like the Ping Tour shafts. Can't go wrong with either IMO

I have the 3w. It’s a grenade launcher when I catch it.

The 410 come stock with the Tensi Orange, Ping Tour or Alta.

I have a Tensi Blue 65TS in mine.

If you are a hard swinger, the Ping Tour 65X & 75X are great shafts. Hunter Mahan plays them I know.
