Looks like I will be going to Hot Springs in late October. Will be staying on Lake Hamilton. Playing at least 3 rounds of golf during my stay. Any recommendations on the golf courses in the area? Thanks in advance.

Any of the courses will be head and shoulders above any public courses here.

Diamondhead Golf Club is decent for the price

Magellan was a very cool course. Great layout and was in great condition when I played it.

That whole area is great. If you are on Lake Hamilton I would recommend a round at hot springs country club. Believe they have two courses there and much closer than driving up to the village. As far as village courses go I think they are all generally in great shape. I would call the pro shop and go with their recommendation on which courses to play. Believe we played granada and it was nice but everyone has a differing opinion on which ones they like of all the courses in the village.

Try getting on Diamante. It’s the private course in HSV, but it is a fantastic course.

In the Village, Diamante (private) and Granada are the best courses. Isabella would be next. Then Ponce de Leon. After that, kind of a toss up with the others. They are all good but those first three (especially the first two) are really, really good courses.

Played 5 rounds last March. Grenada was the best and the 27 holes at Isabella wasn't far behind. I did not get to play Diamante.

Thanks for everyone’s advice, after doing some research and talking to a few friends who have played in the Hot Springs area, I believe that we will try to play at Diamanté, Granada, and Isabella. Will report back with reviews. Thanks for all of the responses.

we went at this time last year. Granada was my favorite, and we ended up playing it twice in one day.

Not sure you can really go wrong with any of the courses up there. I really like Isabella followed by Cortez. Grenada is great too. Have fun!
