I have a couple of buddies that just went down there around July. We played a couple of times out there, and I played in a tourney at Shadow in July. Initiation is just a bit steep.

Knocked my tee shot OB on #13, holed out for birdie with that same 1-iron. So that’s #2 if I can take a mulligan

Playing in my golf league. Short 130 yard par 3 with island green. Sucker pin near water and trap. Hit horrible first shot that drifts right and splashes down in lake.
I'm pissed. I drop another ball. Swing, yell, "THAT's how you hit the ball," and stomp off to the cart.
Can't find ball. No one saw it hit green. Eventually look in hole ....

hole in one on a 185 yd par 3. duncan park, natchez. 5 iron.

I made a couple of eagles but never a hole in one. Really gnaws at me. I did watch my 17 year old son pull hook a shot that banked off the Cypress tree left of the green on hole 18 at Tchefuncta CC and rolled about 60 feet right into the cup. He was so busy swearing that he never saw it go in the hole. Good times!

It's a great day for me if I break 100 and I aced out on hole #3 at Carter Plantation. 129 out with a 9i. I shot a 91 that day too.

I was playing with 3 guys that shot in the 70s that day and they had never made one. It was a great moment.

Playing 4 years, 1 hole in one, last year Ellendale #4

137 yards out

2012, Double eagle at Ellendale #16 6i from 178 out, bombed my drive with the wind behind me and caught the back of a hill for a good roll out. Thankfully I wasn’t playing alone which I did quite often at that time.

4 aces, with clubs ranging from SW to 4 iron (109 to 214 yds). Aced the same hole in consecutive years in the same college tournament (made 3 of the 4 in college tournaments).

1 double eagle form 228 yards with a 2 iron. Played the same hole 2 weeks later and hit the flagstick from 220 and ended up less than a foot away.

They're all luck...
