Not the best round for Tiger. It seems he's fighting every round. I know it's all gonna click soon and we may get that 65-66 round we are looking for.

He played pretty well outside of the double on 11.

Short game and putting looks good

Driver/Irons were iffy for sure

played #5 just about as horribly as a #1 player could play it ... hit a tree, left it in the thick rough, went long, chipped short, and missed the putt for a double ...

DJ missing the cut would be shocking. #1 player in the world who has finished in the top 5 the last 4 years at Riv.

When Ted Potter Jr beats you, you probably think you are at a dead end and buy a nice eightball of cocaine to get your spirits up.

If he could figure out his drive, he'd be fine. Dude needs to back off the ball and stop bailing his body out left.

Ouch. Adam Scott just missed a 2 1/2 footer to pretty much guarantee a missed cut. Not sure there's a worse putter on tour from that distance than Scott.

Looks like Tiger can now spend the weekend practicing for next week.

You should see if you can get this to him. He doesn't have a coach right now.

He sucks. When he wears grey slacks, it is hard for me to see if his glutes were firing.

I'm glad Scott is in the pickle he is. I resented his wins with belly putter.

I'm ok with tiger winning again but im pleased he is having to work at it to manifest great golf.
There are darn good golfers who never win anything bigger than the poulon weed eater rolling hills open.

Loupe finishes dead last basically every week. And that is not an exaggeration.

In 36 out of his last 39 tournaments, he has not picked up OWGR points.

Also, yesterday they showed him by the 10th green. Except he was playing the 13th hole. His tee shot was 50 yards right of the fairway. Not good.

This leaderboard is getting a little bit more enticing. JT and Phil in the top 10. DJ, Spieth top 15.

cbs' opening: story of the day is bubba, who's -5 for the day ... kevin na is also -5 for the day and tied for the lead, but he warrants nary a mention ...
