I've heard that the employees aren't keen on talking about it. That's all I've got

I asked a buddy who was out there for a lesson to ask about the transition to Troon and he said the people he spoke to didn't seem to want to talk about it

The guys in the Academy have always tried very hard to stay out of the Club's politics. Also, the club (even the prior management) has left them alone. Its a no win for them to get involved.

OCC is $594 a month after taxes or something right around there. The initiation was $5k last I heard. We also have a $90 quarterly F&B minimum.

They better or neighborhood home prices will take a 30% haircut. Plenty of examples of failed golf and how it kills and desire to move into a neighborhood.

This is correct except initiation is now $7,500 since we passed 450 stock members.

I’m 39 and my monthly is $550 plus $90 per quarter food minimum. When I turn 40 next year I will convert to stock membership and rate will go up to the $596.

They have increased the monthly rates 3 times in the last 3 years by about 2% each time to “keep up with inflation”

You have to buy into the stock membership once 40? How much is the stock membership?
